I'm so glad I waited for this, Byrons Bay is amazing. Finally a beach with scantily clad women sunbathing! Actually, the beach here is the most crowded yet, with surfers alongside swimmers alongside sunbathers and backpackers. Its a lovely warm 26 degrees today, but I dont think thats why they are all here, the scenery really is spectacular. Last night in the campervan was warmer but the view nowhere near so spectacular. Still I was on the road by 7am. I've started worrying about how far I have left to go and I need to average 800km a day to make it to cairns. But the driving is still spectacular, even with the restrictive speed limits over here. But onwards! Got to get past brisbane tonight!
